================================================================================ Juzt-Reboot™ - Optimum Configuration Options for Home/ SOHO Users ================================================================================ Note: Before you configure your Juzt-Reboot card, please ensure you have installed the [Setup.exe] on the driver floppy in Windows under [Supervisor Mode] 1. At the Juzt-Reboot multi boot menu - Press [F10] and enter [Supervisor Password] Note: Default passwords are the [Enter] key until set by user. You will now see the card configuration menu 2. Select [Disk Setup] You will notice the [No.Attrib 1] highlighted, press the right arrow key to move across to the [Name] and enter name of your choice for the partition. Now press the [Tab Key] to move across to the right hand side menu. Leave the [File System] set as is, because this is automatically picked up by the card at installation. Move down to the [Restore Type] using the down arrow and then use the Page Up/ Down keys to set the restoration to [Manual] Note: Default value is [Every Reboot] You may set a [Boot Password] for additional security, but this is not that necessary for your environment. Press [Esc Key] and move the red highlight bar over [Save] and press [Enter] 3. Select [CMOS Tool] and move red highlight bar over [OK], The following message will be seen- "Analzying CMOS data...., Please Restart machine" Power your machine ON and OFF do not use [CTRL+ALT+DEL], your machine will now reboot 2-3 times whilst the data is analyzed. When this stops will be back at the Juzt-Reboot multi boot screen, repeat [Step 1]. Once you have entered back into the configuration menu, select [Options] and move the highlight bar over [Auto Restore CMOS], select [Enable] using the page up/ down keys. Press [Esc Key] and move the red highlight bar over [Save] and press [Enter] Your CMOS/ BIOS setup is now fully protected. Note: If you wish to add a hardware device to your machine, you will need to disable the [Auto Restore CMOS] setting in [Options], and repeat [Step 3] again, once you have installed the hardware device. 4. Now enter back into [Options] to complete configuration- [Boot Sequence] - Set to C Only - Stops any booting from external drives on system startup. [Safety Value] - Set to advanced - stops any low-level format utilities in your Windows Operating System. 5. Set passwords if you feel necessary- [Supervisor] - Required to access the card setup configuration menu. [Restore] - Required if you wish to restore your last saved hard drive state. [Backup] - Required if you wish to backup new additional information. Note: if you leave these passwords blank, the default password will be the [Enter Key] for each.
