================================================================================ Juzt-Reboot™ - Additional Installation Tips Express/ Advanced/ Custom ================================================================================ PRE-INSTALLATION ========================== It is not necessary to disable your Anti-Virus software, this information in the manual is to avoid any possible conflict, if it occurs. EXPRESS INSTALLATION ========================== This installation type is for a PC already running a Windows Operating System. The card will pickup any logical drives already partitioned D:, E: Drives etc. * Important - When you see the buffer screen on installation - default [502MB], it is recommended increasing to [1004MB] using pg up/dw keys. Once you have installed Juzt-Reboot on your system using this installation method - Please note the Restore Type is set to [every reboot] default value. ADVANCED/ CUSTOM INSTALLATION =================================== This installation type is used for installing Multiple Operating Systems. Juzt-Reboot can be installed on a blank Hard Drive & then used to partition the actual hard drive without any additional software applications. You can install upto 10 different Operating Systems all of which can be set too different restore types (individually recover/ backup) and upto 4 logical drives per OS. (40 Maximum) * Boot passwords can be assigned to each Operating system 2. Installing Space Buffer =========================== After the Juzt-Reboot Card has installed allow your PC to boot to your Windows Operating System. Then install the setup.exe found on the Card software driver disk: Visible bar indicator in [Programs Menu] Run - A:\Setup.exe Your system will now shutdown & reboot Allow boot back into Windows (to make sure everything has fully installed) Now shutdown & restart system. 2. CARD PARAMETER SETTINGS - JR-PCI-NT ============================================= - at the Juzt-Reboot multi-boot menu press [F10] to enter into card setup options - default password is [Enter] key 1. Select [CMOS TOOL] then select [OK] - your PC will now reboot twice & analyze your CMOS data. Once this has completed, enter back into the card setup options by pressing [F10] at the boot menu. 2. Select [OPTIONS] - Set [Boot Sequence] - C Only (Stop booting from A: drive) [Auto Restore CMOS...] - Enable [Safety Value] - Advanced (Protect from low-level format) - Set Passwords [Supervisor Password] - password for card setup options [Restore Password] - password entered before restoring saved image [Backup Password] - password entered before backingup new image (Scan for viruses before using CTRL+B to backup) 3. Select [ESC] to save 4. Select from setup menu [DISK SETUP] - Set C: drive [Restore Interval] - Every Reboot or Everyday Note: Set for each OS if multiple loaded - Set D: drive (optional) [Clear Interval] - Disable/ Every Reboot/ Weekly/ Monthly 5. Select [ESC] to save 6. Hiding Juzt-Reboot boot manager from the User Select [FORCE BOOTING] select OS you want to direct boot too. This will set [Auto Select] to 2 secs [DEFAULT SETTING] (can be increased) This basically tells the card to boot from the OS boot manager after a predefined time. 7. Press [ESC] to save & exit ========= NOTE ========= If you wish to change the Card Parameter options on a number of PC`s you only need to change 1 PC, then you can send the parameter data to the other PC`s in 15 seconds.
